Safety Alert Counterfeit Lifting Shackles found in the workplace

A London Underground H&S officer has issued a Safety Alert with regard to the discovery of counterfeit "CROSBY" lifting shackles, these shackles can FAIL at as low as 40% of their stated rating thereby the consequences could be catastrophic. Everyone should read the Safety Allert and carry out an urgent inspection of your plant and equipment to ensure none of these shackles are in use.
