How to Become an ATLAS Member
Membership of ATLAS is a valuable tool for any company working within the specialist access, steeplejack and lightning protection industry.
Our high standards require the satisfaction of the following criteria. A breach of these criteria, or the Code of Conduct, may lead to termination of membership;
- Trading for a minimum of three years
- Complying with the Holidays with Pay Scheme (or providing equal of better benefits to employees)
- Satisfaction of minimum insurance requirements
- Completion of yearly audit returns confirming satisfactory health and safety results and training commitment levels
- Membership of the Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Training Group
- Registration of operatives engaged in steeplejack and lightning conductor engineering to the appropriate scheme
The Directors of all companies applying for membership are interviewed and audited by the Association's Membership Committee during the application process. Successful applications are then ratified by Council.
