The Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for the audit and recommendation of new members to ATLAS.

It convenes whenever an application has been received from a prospective ATLAS member.

The Chairman, and another invited council member relevant to the applicant's specific industry business sector, will review the application, take up the applicant's references and conduct a health and safety audit of the company. A visit would then be arranged to both the applicant’s office premises and a working site to ensure that any new prospective member would and could comply with all the requirements of the Association. A report and recommendation would then be sent back to Council to be voted on.
